Welcome to Alexander Chapel UMC

               Established in 1856 Alexander Chapel UMC stands as a faithful witness to the gospel of Jesus Christ.  Today the church continues to worship God and serve the surrounding community.  We offer traditional worship every Sunday.  Our slogan is A Church For Everyone; you are always welcome and will be warmly greeted.

                    Alexander Chapel is a church with a family oriented ministry for worship and fellowship. We have special worship services for seasonal times such as our Summer Homecoming, Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas specials. We have forged partnerships with our sister churches because we’re better together! In addition to activities at the church, we also serve the surrounding community by supporting the Asheville Buncombe Community Christian Ministry (ABCCM) North Samaritan Crisis Ministry with ongoing food collections & financial gifts.  And with Clark’s Chapel UMC, we operate a Medical Lending Closet to provide durable and disposable equipment to those in need.
