and a joy to those who first taught you the way of Christ,

I say to you: Stand firm in the Lord.

God is our light and salvation, of whom shall we be afraid,

Wait for the Lord, be strong and fill your hearts with courage.

Yes indeed, we wait for the Lord.

God has said: “Seek my face.”
