How do we welcome one little child in the name of Jesus?

With hope, with enthusiasm, with respect, with the open arms of our heart,

      with an attitude of love.

How do we welcome one little child in the name of Jesus?

By calling the child into responsibility, by finding time to listen,

      by conveying that we value the child, by teaching what is right, by feeding   

      the child’s whole being. 

Help us to welcome each child, one by one. 

      In the name of Jesus the Christ, Amen.
